Scriptures with Friends is a free web application that helps you:

• Create study plans for scripture reading
• Track your study progress with personal notes
• Connect with friends to encourage each other's spiritual growth
• Share study activity and notes with connected friends
• Receive notifications about your study schedule and friends' progress

The service is provided free of charge, with no ads and no paid features.

3. User Accounts

Account Creation

• You must be at least 13 years old to create an account
• You must provide a valid email address
• You are responsible for keeping your password secure
• You are responsible for all activity on your account
• One person per account (no sharing accounts)

Account Security

Notify us immediately at support@scriptureswithfriends.org if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You May:

• Use the service for personal scripture study and spiritual growth
• Share thoughtful, respectful study notes with friends
• Connect with friends to encourage each other
• Create study plans and track your progress

You May NOT:

• Post offensive, hateful, or inappropriate content in your study notes
• Harass, bully, or harm other users
• Impersonate others or create fake accounts
• Attempt to hack, exploit, or damage the service
• Use automated tools (bots) to access the service
• Scrape or copy content without permission
• Spam other users with unwanted friend requests
• Use the service for any illegal purpose
• Violate others' intellectual property rights

5. Your Content

Ownership

You own the study notes and other content you create. We don't claim ownership of your content.

License to Us

By posting content, you grant us a license to store, display, and transmit your content as necessary to provide the service (e.g., showing your notes to friends you've connected with). This license ends when you delete your content or account.

Responsibility

You are solely responsible for your content. Ensure you have the right to share anything you post, and that it doesn't violate these Terms or anyone's rights.

Content Removal

We reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms or is reported as inappropriate, though we are not obligated to monitor all content.

6. Intellectual Property

Our Content

The Scriptures with Friends website, design, features, and branding are our property (or our licensors'). You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works without permission.

Scripture Content

Scripture texts and references come from public domain sources and various translations. Some scripture content may be subject to copyright by their respective publishers. Users are responsible for respecting these copyrights when sharing scripture content.

7. Service Availability

No Guarantees

We strive to keep the service available and reliable, but we make no guarantees. The service may be unavailable due to maintenance, technical issues, or other factors beyond our control.

Changes and Updates

Backups

While we make reasonable efforts to back up data, you should keep your own copies of important study notes. We are not liable for data loss.

8. Termination

By You

You may stop using the service and request account deletion at any time by contacting support@scriptureswithfriends.org.

By Us

We may suspend or terminate your account if:

• You violate our Community Guidelines
• Your account appears abandoned or inactive for an extended period
• We are required to do so by law
• Continuing to provide service would create legal or security risks

We will try to provide notice before termination, but we reserve the right to terminate immediately for serious violations.
